We are looking for a few outgoing, patient, kind, reliable, and enthusiastic teens to volunteer for our Mentoring Mensches program!
Each week, high school students will spend an hour or two mentoring children involved in our Blonder Family Department for Special Needs. The program is designed to help children with special needs participate in activities at the MJCCA and enjoy extracurriculars like sports, cooking, art, and more!
Mentors must be 16 or older, must have experience working with children, and have an interest in the special education field or other closely related fields.
With help from our Mentoring Mensches, children with special needs can participate in extracurricular activities and truly feel connected with their peers.

Times will vary depending on course options and need.

This is an unpaid volunteer program helping children with special needs.

Placements will vary depending on need and you will be paired based on personality, skills, and experience.
