As past presidents of the Marcus JCC, we are proud of the incredible impact the MJCCA has on its participants, on our community, and on Jewish life. The MJCCA is an inclusive community that fosters Jewish values while creating connections and memories that last a lifetime. We firmly believe it is imperative that the MJCCA remains a focal point of Jewish life in Atlanta.

We look back with admiration and gratitude to those who laid the groundwork for today’s MJCCA. We are the beneficiaries of their vision, hard work, and generosity, and we are determined to deliver an MJCCA of even greater impact to those who follow us. Our mission is to ensure that the MJCCA remains a vibrant center of Jewish life, with facilities that fully support our innovative programs. Message from the CEO

The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta is the primary destination in Atlanta for Jewish engagement and connection. JCCs have always been a place where people of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities come together to grow and learn, to deepen their bonds with one another, and to engage with the broader community. Here at the Marcus JCC, we have proven time and again to be the easiest and most accessible entry portal to actively engage in Jewish life and create meaningful friendships and community. I know firsthand because I grew up at this JCC and at Camp Barney Medintz, and I watched with great pride as my children went through our JCC programs (preschool, day camp, sports and much more) and Camp Barney Medintz too!

The Marcus JCC has a proven track record of impact and engagement and now is the time for significant investments in our future. By strategically and efficiently reimagining our spaces to maximize our innovation and impact, the Marcus JCC will be positioned to respond to the growing needs of the metro Atlanta community. This will allow us to fulfill our vision and mission as we continue to inspire the community to live Jewish lives, connect with one another, and embrace their Jewish identity.
