Guests
A non-member guest may visit the Eva G. Lipman Pickleball Center at no cost up to 3 times per year. After their 3rd complimentary visit, non-member guests will be asked to pay a $20 guest fee upon arrival at the welcome center.

Cancellations
Cancellations require a 24-hour notice, and any cancellations made within 24 hours of the reservation will incur a fee of $20, which will be charged to the member who made the reservation.

If you have multiple no show or last-minute cancelations, the MJCCA has the right to charge your membership account a no show or cancellation fee.

The Director of Pickleball Operations and Programs has the discretion to waive these costs.

No Shows
The member who made the reservation will incur a $30 no-show fee. An email will be sent with the receipt to the member, letting them know why the charged occurred. Repeat offenders may have their reservation capabilities revoked or altered.

Ball machine rentals are available to MJCCA members. Purchase a ball machine rental package in the MJCCA Registration & Payment Portal. Note: reserve court 8 to use the ball machine. First-time renters must set up an appointment for a brief machine tutorial by emailing pickleball@atlantajcc.org.

Yes, please bring your own paddles and balls.

Most games are played to 11 points and take approximately 20-25 minutes to complete.

Open play means that all players, of any skill level, are invited to play on the courts without a reservation. View the open play schedule.

A mixer is two hours of structured open play along with a reserved area for food and drinks.

A ladder night is a one-night mini tournament where players are randomly placed onto courts for matches. After each match, winners advance to the next court up the ladder with the goal of reaching the top of the ladder.

Our league format is competitive and fun, including weekly matches and an end-of-the-season championship tournament.

Pickleball 101 caters to beginner pickleball players who want to learn essential strokes, rules, and scoring to play confidently. Pickleball 201 is for more experienced players who want to learn more strategy, a wider range of shots, more in-depth teaching of how to work in a doubles team, and when to/how to hit certain shots. Pickleball 201 expands on knowledge taught in Pickleball 101.

Jr. Intro to Pickleball caters to beginner players, introducing them to the thrilling world of pickleball through an easy-to-learn and engaging experience. Jr. Advanced Pickleball is for players with at least two months play experience or for those who have completed Jr. Intro to Pickleball. Jr. Advanced Pickleball expands on knowledge taught in Jr. Intro to Pickleball.
