The Schiff School

As the newest addition to our family of MJCCA Preschools, The Schiff School provides a warm and inviting atmosphere within the walls of Temple Emanu-El. Our friendly and intimate environment gives children and their families the advantage of experiencing true collaboration in everything we do.
Our beautiful brand-new outdoor playground is perfect for all ages to run, slide, and engage in imaginary play—it’s a place where many lifelong friendships are made. Inside, our young learners engage in a progressive preschool curriculum focused on cognition, literacy, physical development, and social and emotional growth—under the umbrella of Jewish values and culture.
The Schiff School sets itself apart from other preschools with dedicated music and art rooms, plus a beautiful outdoor garden, library, and a sanctuary to gather in and celebrate Shabbat every week.
Hours and Options
Flexibility is key! That’s why The Schiff School offers both full-day and half-day options for our families.
Full-day | 7:30 am-5:30 pm: Children who spend the day with us learn using our experiential and educational core curriculum and can sign up for additional extracurricular activities.
Half-day | 9:30 am-1:30 pm: Our half-day program is creative, experiential, and educational, utilizing core curriculum to help children excel from a young age. Extracurricular activities are available after the school day ends.
The MJCCA’s Inclusion Program strives to provide the necessary accommodations and flexibility for youth who require additional support so they may access the transformative opportunities available at the MJCCA. Our Inclusion Team collaborates with parents, educators, and staff to determine if successful program placement is possible. These youth and their families are then supported by our Inclusion Team through program accommodations and may also receive individualized assistance. Click here for more information.
